Tiled \ Slate Roofing

Tiled Roofs

We offer all tiling services from the simple fixing of slipped tiles, to the complete renewal of your roof. We can supply and fit all major brands including Redland, Marley and Sandtoft.

We are well practised at working along-side all other trades in an efficient and timely manner, to ensure you receive the most convenient service.

We also fit roof-lights and light tunnels, and we can make-good stink pipes and install discreet tile vents.

Vertical tiling (tile hanging), provides a popular and eye-catching external finish. To many people its maintenance-free finish is the most appealing factor. Whichever reason you prefer, we deliver the highest quality vertical tiling at competitive rates.

All of our cement work is finished to an exceptional standard, we can use specialist dyes to weaken the ‘freshly laid’ look.

The south-east has many beautiful listed and historic buildings. Common sense and a desire to retain our national heritage means that the upkeep of such buildings is imperative. We have undertaken several of these projects, and it is through these that we have great working relationships with most local suppliers of reclaimed tiles and fittings. Equally the South East has some of the most modern and up-to date new-builds.

Slate Roofs

Fusion Property Improvements will offer a full slating service from the planning stage of a new-build or extension, to general slate roof repair and maintenance. We specialise in natural slate, or “fake” slate.

Slate is one of the most traditional forms of stone roof coverings, it has been used and manufactured in Britian since the roman times. It is a natural product in every sense, consisting of cholorite, mica, calcite and quartz, these elements are combined in sediments and compressed over centuries, then eventually turned to the slate we know, by the heat of the earths crust.

Although Britian was once the worlds biggest supplier of slate to the industry, it is now common to source slate from as far away as China, India and Spain, whilst a few Welsh quarries still produce. This diversity of choice offers alternatives in price and appearance that enable us to sympathically match to existing.

A cost effective way to achieve a similar finish is by using fibre or fake slates, these products look great when laid professionally.

Whether a new roof, or repairs to an existing roof, we can help.
